Zingermans Pecan Pie

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup + 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 9 tablespoons corn syrup

  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

  • 9 inch single pie crust, unbaked

Preheat oven to 350 F.


In a mixing bowl combine sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until well combined.


Add the melted butter and corn syrup and mix to combine.


Spread the pecans evenly on the bottom of the unbaked pie crust.


Pour the filling over the pecans and bake one hour.


Remove and let cool.
