Pizza Grilled Cheese

(one sandwich)

  • Pepperidge Farm Sourdough Bread, 2 slices

  • 1 Tb spreadable butter

  • 1/4 cup Pizza Sauce

  • 8 Pepperonis

  • 1/4 c shredded mozzarella

  • 1 Tb freshly grated Parmesan

  • 1 Tb freshly chopped basil


Preheat large griddle to 325 degrees and preheat your oven to broil on low temperature.

Spread 1/2 Tb butter on each side of bread. Top slice with 1/8 cup pizza sauce, 2 Tb shredded mozzarella, 1/2 Tb parmesan, 1 Tb freshly chopped basil, 5 pepperonis and second bread slice.


Cook 3-4 minutes per side or until each side is golden.


Cover top with 2 Tb cup pizza sauce, 1/4 c mozzarella, 1/2 Tb parmesan and 3 more pepperonis.

Broil on low, top shelf, 2 minutes. Cut in half and eat!
