Hummus

  • 2 cans chick peas, drain but save 1/2 c of the liquid to thin out hummus as needed

  • A little less than 1/3 cup tahini

  • 5 Tb fresh lemon juice

  • 3/4 t sea salt

  • 1/2 t cumin

  • 1/8 t cayenne

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1 Tb extra virgin olive oil

  • Sweet paprika and fresh minced parsley for topping


In a large food processor pulsate everything but chick pea liquid, paprika and parsley until smooth. Add liquid to thin a little at a time. Sprinkle with toppings.
