Cinnamon Coffee Cake

1 (18.25 ounce) package Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1 cup water
3/4 cup applesauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 10 inch Bundt cake pan.
In a medium bowl stir together the cake mix and vanilla pudding mixes. Add the eggs, applesauce, oil and water, mix until well blended.
In another bowl, stir together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan, spread evenly. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the sugar cinnamon mixture. Cover with 1/3 the batter, and sprinkle with the 1/3 of the sugar cinnamon mixture. Cover with the last bit of batter and the last bit of sugar cinnamon.
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, then turn the oven down to 325 degrees F and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes.
Check for doneness with toothpick.
Cool before serving.
