Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

  • I stick unsalted butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt 3 large very ripe bananas, mashed with fork

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 bag semi sweet chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 325 F.


Grease 9x5 inch loaf pan and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add egg one at a time and then vanilla.

In a separate bowl combine banana with milk and cinnamon.

In a separate bowl whisk together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

Stir banana mixture into butter mixture and then stir into flour mixture in. Don’t over mix.

Fold in chocolate chips.


Pour into baking dish.


Bake 65-70 minutes
