Broccoli Summer Salad

  • 2 heads fresh broccoli, cut into bite sized florets

  • 1/4 cup diced red onion

  • 8 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 3/4 cup golden raisins or dried cranberries

  • 3/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 3/4 cup light mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar


Combine the broccoli with the bacon, raisins and seeds and mix well.


To prepare the dressing, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar and vinegar together until smooth. Stir into the salad, let chill and serve.
