Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrap

  • 1 pound ground chicken

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger

  • 1 diced onion

  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce

  • 2 tablespoons lite soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar

  • 1/2 tablespoon Sriracha

  • 1 (8 oz) can drained water chestnuts, diced

  • 2 chopped green onions

  • 1 head butter lettuce


Heat nonstick saucepan over medium high heat, spray with pam. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the chicken as it cooks.


Stir in garlic, onion, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger and sriracha until onions have become translucent, about 2 minutes.


Stir in chestnuts and green onions until tender, about 2 more minutes.


Spoon 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture into the center of a lettuce leaf, eat like a taco


4 servings, about 3 wraps per serving
